This plant is native to Australia and some parts of Asia. In earlier times, these leaves were used to make tea.

Acne and warts: Helpful in treating acne and warts.It helps to fight bacteria associated with acne and helps reduce inflammation. Products with 5 percent tea tree oil can help to reduce the number of acne lesions by 24% to 62% when applied twice daily for one to two months.It is amazing in curing warts, corns, wounds and ring worms. A few drops of undiluted applied directly on a wart can work like a miracle if used twice a week (make sure to check for skin sensitivity before applying though!) and you will find that the warts disappear on their own.

Toenail fungal infection:Applying on a cotton ball and dabbing it on your toenails until the infection goes away.

Dandruff: It is effective in treating dandruff.Try mixing with coconut oil, massaging it onto your scalp, and letting sit for a few hours (or overnight). Wash out using mild shampoo.

Anti-bacteria:Add a teaspoon of tea tree oil to heavily soiled laundry along with your natural detergent to kill any bacteria.

Dental problems:Useful in treating dental problems such as plaque, bad breath and inflamed gums.
